CBL stands for Calculator Based Laboratory, if I'm not mistaken.  It can
accept various data probes, like a barometer, thermometer, etc.  It uses the
standard TI-link protocol to talk to the calculator through the linkport.  CBL
is best used for education, especially science classes.
