I want to buy a ti calc (ti-86 or ti-85 or any other ...)
but i first want to learn as much as possible about ti
hardware.

is is for the initiated only!!!


TI-85 questions (chip numbers from mel tsai)

1- Does cpu chip (TGA43) fetch reset vector from 
   external Mask ROM chip (LH531GNM-85)?

2- In ti-85 FAQ it is stated that TI-85 has 128K of
   ROM but ROM chip (LH531GNM-85) has only 15 address
   line , that is 64K , so i guess that the rest of the
   rom is in the cpu chip , please confirm this?  

3- What memory banks (pages) are internal to cpu 
   and what banks (pages) are external 
   
   give page numbers that are external for ram and rom?

4- What is (are) the chip numbers for the LCD controller
   (full numbers)?
