Do you have any X-Acto scars?  What about X-Acto razor saw marks?  I was
cutting the tip off a shelf with one, got the saw stuck, carelessly
pulled it out and nicely sliced a flap on my index finger.

With that, you have to watch not to get your finger on the mandrel or
your finger gets hot very quickly.  Take my word for it.  If you're not
"safe" with X-acto's just use a battery powered Dremel since at
40000-60000RPM's its very easy to get into trouble.
