TI-H: Link success!
Well, it looks like my TI-85 link port works after all. I built the $4
serial link from my parts box, and it worked! It took me a couple of
hours to get it to transfer zshell, and it still doesn't work
consistently, but when it does work, I can transfer as much as I need. I
think part of the problem is my low batteries, but I'll find out later. I
have to etch a PCB for the link cable, then I'll know for sure where the
problem is.
About the time I got everything working, and all the programs transferred,
I left the room, and somebody knocked a full glass of cola over into the
laptop and calculator, so I had to spend the next couple of hours cleaning
them up. The keyboard on this darn laptop still doesn't act right, but
the calc is fine :)
