I use the IR to controll the TV accross the room and I use the I/O expander
directly wired to the buttons om my VCR.

Do you have th IR link?
On a breadboard, hanging off of my monitor, which gets its power out of a
hole inside of the CPU which gets its power from a 8.3 amp power
conditioner which gets its power from the wall...


If so, where can I

I'm not sure...go to a TV repair place and beg to paw through their surplus.
