YES !! The parallel cable finally worked on my computer !

It was a speed problem actually. The only link program that
worked was plink! because it has the possibility to change the
parallel port communication speed (interleave etc). It worked fine
under plain DOS and under Win95-DOS mode. (under windows NT
it DID show the TI directory correctly - that means that it has no
communication problem - but it freezed maybe because of the 
direct access to the mouse interrupts ..)

So the conclusion is that all communication programs MUST have
the option to change the speed in order to run on fast computers.
Waiting for the new versions ... (especially Wizard92) :-)

P.S. Why fargo 1 and 2 (ROM v1.11) always freezes my TI with a
black screen when I upload it ?? No, I can't adjust the contrast .. :-)
