Parity was phased out at the start of the introduction of EDO dram,
which was during the latter half of the pentium rein (e.g.
P133's/P166's).  Now you can't even BUY parity sdram or edo dram chips
from the manufacturer's.  They're all 1Mx16, 2Mx16, or 8Mx16 (64
megabit, which is the largest).
