TI-H: Colour change


Here´s a simple one:

All you need is one of those old mid-80´s Nintendo Game&Watch pocket games
(preferably multi-screen). What you´re really after is the polaroid filter
at the back of the LCD.

Peel this off (carefully - don´t get fingerprints or it´ll look ugly) and
stick to the TI LCD.  This will give you a yellow-green colour instead of
the grayish colour you´ve had so far as the background. An interesting
feature is that if you rotate the film gradually you´ll get colour changes
(for instance blues, violets, reds, greens, etc.) so if you get a piece of
film big enough you could trim it and attach it at an angle.

Don´t get to hopeful: there is no way of implementing this as an assebly
feature where you can pick your background colour! But it does relieve the
monotonous VDU.
