Suicide doors are doors on a car that open in opposite directions,
that is, the front door opens forward (as usual), and the rear
door opens the other way (a style that is becomming common in
extended cab pickups and some cars).  They were called suicide
doors when they first came out because they had latching problems,
and in even a minor crash they would open, tossing people out on
the pavement.

Suicide knobs are basicly doorknobs mounted on a steering wheel.
To make steering easier.  Not sure why they are called suicide
knobs though.  In some places they are illegal.
