Yes!  Yes!  Yes!

For those who don't know, the StrongARM processor is a product of DEC. 
It is the core processor in the Apple Newton MessagePad 2000, which runs
at 163MHz.  And for those who aren't familiar with the MP2000, it is
fast enough to do handwriting recognition at 99.5% accuracy, and it
keeps up with the writer at up to 100wpm!  (of course, I have no idea
how they tested that...)

I've used one, and it's damn cool...and yeah, that would be an excellent
processor choice, although the PowerPC 603ev is faster, cooler, cheaper,
smaller, uses less power, and has already reached 300Mhz!
