a piezo buzzer usualy costs less than one dollar.
it is a very simple speaker about 1"-2"

i built one for 2 dollars.
a length of wire, a piezo buzzer, and a sterio jack.


u can get everything at raidio shack(i belive it is called Tandy Inc. if
france)
