You have a point here. Many people just argue about some small details
which should be discussed after the real problems are solved. Few people
actually post something useful (I don't say I've done it).

Exactly, and that's why my multicalc chat software has been put on hold
to wait till a working link is actually available. Still, it might be
good to speak a little about the software that the link(s) are meant
for. But speaking about Zmodem and other such protocols is totally
useless until something really is working.
