Yep, this problem is caused by PlainJump.  This is commonly known as 
the "Plain Jump Virus" even though it is not really a virus.  If you 
look at the previous for the past couple days, we have been talking 
about this.  And yes, 1->rand does clear this up.  Unfortunetly, it is 
a seed value, so rand will not be completely random.
