Exactly. BASIC is just a set of (somewhat slow) ASM calls.
Numbers in parenthases set the registers, the name sets
the ROM call. Don't believe me? Get ASM Studio 86 and
look at the help. You'll find a version of *every* BASIC
command there is, plus much more. Also, someone's
working on a translation program like that for the 83
and 83+... I just want it for the 86!
