If it is the calc probelm and the calc is under 2 years old, you can get
a new one. Becouse TI have 2 years world garenti on the calc. If you
have now doc on when you have bye it. can you thus use the serial nub
back, ther can you see how old it is.
I have a ti83+ whice the same probelm and I thust get a new one. it took
me 10min.
