I'm also posting this cuz one reply is sufficient and I don't want to see

<< if you had the eqn dy/dx+x=y, you would enter it in this way:
 
 desolve(y'/x'+x=y,y,x)
 
 so in general it is desolve(equation,independent,dependent)
