I am currenly learning assembly, and I must say, this guy Nathan has a
point.
Basic is the best choice for math programs or class cheat sheets, but game
programmers would be better off in asm. True there are programs that compile
basic programs into assemble, but the suck.

turbosoft@aol.com had another good point. C is a great stepping stone from
basic. In addition, get the small C compiler from ticalc, it is my current
choice for programming.
