I have to say, I agree with Philipp, I programed in QBasic for about 3
years, and found there is very little you can do with that programming
language.  It's easy to do, but it can't do much for you.  If you want to
get anywhere in computers, learn something good, as he said like Java, and
work your way to C.  QBasic is a language that's fun to mess around with,
but the most advanced thing I ever heard coming out of it was a program that
could draw 3D verticies in space.
