Well, Ti-85 does have some advantages:
1. Price -- $20 less...  you get everything but the 96k of memory, but
I'm sure you could build an expander
    with that $20 anyway (as I have).
2. Ram Pages -- Ti-86 has ram pages of 16k... only 10k of each is
available for user mem..  So in other
   words, you won't be able to have any asm programs over 10k..  Someone
may have found a way around
   this one though.
3. Curvy shape is annoying
4. 85 has bigger software library and wider use

Sure the 86 has lots more features, but to *ME* (ok?)  , its not worth
ditching the 85 and buying an 86.  In fact,
if I were to purchase another calculator, I would probably get the 85
for the above reasons.  I hope
this doesn't turn into a one-sided flame war ;)
