Re: TIB: reading code

I also find it hard to understand code unless I write it. After writing Golf
1.0 for the TI-85, I optimized the variables to one character so that the
program would take less memory. I realeased v1.9 (in ticalc TI_Basic
archive), with the characters as variables, and when I looked into optimizing
again, I still understood everything and what the variables were. I think
there has only been one time I actually understood code, and it was when I
spent a while looking at someone's ski program because I wanted to try and
make a program like it. I later ported it to asm only going up the screen
instead of down, but I have to make it better (right now the course goes
faster if you hold down the over arrow than if you tap) before I release it.
