I just wanted to add me two cents!. I bought a TI-85 two weeks ago and 
downloaded every com link program I could find. By far the best was CAL.
So far as I can tell it does it all. 

There is one disappointing feature to it though. The author put a pretty 
touch to it that makes the first and last letters of menus and files 
in bold white that to me is very irritating after a while. At first it
is cute but after a while it becomes tiresome and I wish there was
an option to have some consistent foreground and background :-(

No need, just use Cal software.  It sends a grouped file.  Of course, if
you don't have a link, GET ONE!  It is playing hell to type in programs.
