Re: one sided limits

Try lim(-4/(7x+3),x,-3/7,1) to get the right-sided limit, or change the
1 to -1 to get the left-sided limit. Actually, any positive value for
the last argument will give the right-sided limit, and any negative
value will give the left-sided limit.

Subject: one sided limits

I left my TI 89 manual at home and am on vacation
right now doing homework-I want to get the limit of
-4/(7x+3) as x-->-3/7 from the right and left side, is
there a way to do it on the 89?

appreciate all the help.

also, besides a list serve, is there a bulletin board
like microsofts community board for excel and access
for the ti 8x series?
