This idea pops up every now and then.  Other favorites:
Game Boy emulation on the TI-8x series
Mac emulation on the TI-92 series
Internet connection though the calc (supposedly a couple of people have
actually gotten this one to work, though the set-up is severely jery-rigged)
Control a samll robot with an on-board calculator (this has definately been
done, and is by far the easiest of the group to pull off)
