It means that if you enter sin(pi/4), the calculator returns sqrt(2)/2
instead of 0.7071...
Similarly, if you enter something like x+x+y+3y, the calculator returns 2x +
4y, unless x and y are defined, in which case the calculator returns the
value for the specific values of x.
