My total bad. I just checked, and the only serial port that I have (connected to the printer) is designated as a "printer serial port". The only other serial port that came with the computer was removed when I upgraded the CD-ROM (The drive was built into the card with the serial port). So the quick fix of unplugging the printer isn't going to cut it, unless there's some kind of driver that can read what the printer port is sending. Help!
