Nobody disagrees with that. In fact, the 86 was supposed to be able to
do that, but somehow TI screwed it up and renegged on that ability at the
last minute. There is a workaround, but it's a pain. Read this:

I played around with that for a few minutes with a coworker's 85, and learned that only variables can be sent. (Being involved with computers for so long, I figure it should be able to send a file (even if the commands aren't valid in the other calc) for viewing & (if necessary) editing).
