The FAQ at ti's site: the 86 has 4 times as much mem as the 85, but the Z80
processor cannot address as much at one time. Therefore ti 86 uses memory
paging making it a tiny bit slower.
Even though I'm the only one having an 86 in my class I'm always done as the
first on tests - I've never had really noticed any diifference from my old
85 to my recent 86.
ticalc has some speed comparison somewhere, but I've not checked it yet
