What was TI thinking?  Well, the 82 (and the 83 that followed) was basically
a cheaper knock-off of the 85.  TI left a lot of things off, like the ability
to have more than six lists, the polynomial solver, unit conversions, and
yes, lowercase letters.  Don't gripe just because you went the cheap route
and got the 83 instead of the 86.
