Favorite Calculator
I agree with Tom Lake, the TI-59 was a great little
calculator. I used it all through graduate school (in the old days, before
desktop computers). The drop-in modules were great. They had modules for various
disciplines, each loaded with discipline-specific programs (surveying and
navigation were two I remember). I still have my TI-59 around somewhere,
collecting dust!
(And for all you cynics out there sighing "Who
cares?", well -- Tom Lake does, and that's good enough for
me).
