Two ends of a diode. There is a black (?) mark to tell which is which

Copper wire, 2 diodes type 1N4148 (Ask in the store),25 pin male connector
to go to your Pc-port and a plastic cover and EITHER 2,5mm stereo socket OR
2,5mm plug (File it to fit your link port. Not recommended) OR half a
calc-calc link. You also need a soldering iron (heard people did it with
candles) and a metal for soldering. (Tin?) Also basic tools like pliers,
wire strippers and screw driver. You could use a battery and a lamp/bulb to
see where there are connections or a test meter, whatever that is. The cost
varies where you are in the world. In the Us you can do this for 4$ or 5$.I
made it for about 20$ here. (Norway)

Follow a schematic (link at the bottom)

In the Us you can get it at Radio shack I'm told. The problem elsewhere
could be to get Diodes and 2,5mm socket. Ask people in electronics and radio
stores.

Don't know. I'm sure the par works with all calcs. Serial could be cheaper.
I think par is easiest to make.

Don't use the Ticalc scheme only. This page on this link has easy
instructions on how to do it. Even an idiot could do it. (And I did it. No
offence meant) http://www.salokin.demon.co.uk/ti85_hints.htm
This is the easy way. Soldier wire on pin 2, 3, 13,12, and 18 to 25 with
different wires. From 2 to diode and to 12. From 12 to Middle circle. From 3
to diode to 13. From 13 to the socket/plug so it becomes the outer part.
18-25 to inder part.Looks something like this:
 Computer part------------> |18-25|2 diode 12|3 diode 13|--> calc
                                        |Inner ring|Middle|outer ring|
