But they don't!

The Amiga had custom chips - Zorro Busses and the like, sophisticated
audio and graphics chips and this out of the box, You'll find that
TI89/92 is still slower than Amiga on similar chip, though the TI OS
should hopefully use less than about 20k to run (which is what original
amiga's could do!).
