Um, NO, I'm afraid you are wrong here.  I'm _not_ changing _their_
code.  Their copyright on their ROM has to do with their _software_, not
the hardware.  All I would be doing is writing my OWN ROM software _FROM
SCRATCH_ and using that _instead_ of TI's or alongside of TI's (also
perfectly legal because I still wouldn't be changing their code at
_all_).

Believe me, it is okay. :-)  But if it would allow you to keep your mind
at ease, I'll e-mail TI and post their response to the board, 'k?
