You have to convert the basic before it is sent, errors can occur if you
dont (which is most likely what happened)
(NOTE: 83 basic is not compatible with 85 OR 86 basic, as far as I know)
No, the 85 is not allways best, it isnt better in many areas IMHO.
Why buy an 86?
A) More memory
B) ASM
C) The "hooks" (font, menu additions, etc)
etc......
Im too lazy to say more, but you get the basic idea =P
