ok well i dont know about cal.. but i just like to share something on
what TI says about backups..

on their www page it says that the ti86 does not have backup BECAUSE of
different ROM versions... ppl on the ti85 have tried backing up a rom
10.0 to a different rom.. or vice versa or other rom versions.. and it
messses the calc up, and they'd have to reset.. take batteries out..
etc.. well TI doesn't want ppl to have these HASSLES (no big hassle to
me), and so that's why they no longer are putting BACKUP options in the
WINLINK program.. and it says just get a group file.. (GROUP FILE IS
LIMITED TO 65K.. WHAT THE HECK!!!!)

so ppl.. i think TI's reason is TOO stupid to be a REASON.. so i suggest
we all EMAIL TI, and ask for BACKUP on the WINLINK..(or at least.. GROUP
files to be 96k)
