ti85 case

can anyone here give me some advice on how to pop up the case for the Ti85
without damaging or breaking any parts?
I've been trying it (for the first time) for the past 20 minutes, and it's a
bit frustrating.  I tried using things to slide along the side of the
calculator, but the top part just doesn't seem open up.

ps...  i just joined this list yesterday, and i'm a bit of a rookie at this
