Is there anything plugged into the link port? Is the link port broken?
Sometimes this can cause the cursor to not blink and appear frozen.

        I have a TI-85 which recently has been locking up as soon as I
turn it on. Removing the batteries did nothing. Does anyone know what's
wrong and how to fix it?
