Any other library other than VBRUN100.DLL will not work. The versions
for 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 or 5.0 will not work. Wasn't Microsoft smart to make
only VBRUN100.DLL work? Love that forward compatability, which the Mac
doesn't have. (Extreme sarcasm here)

For example, if you want to run programs you created with VB 1.0 and
3.0, you will need VBRUN100.DLL and VBRUN300.DLL, not just 300.DLL.
