Mine have never lasted a couple of months, maybe 1 or 2 months at most.
But, I buy generic batteries, and use it around 3 hours in school, and on
average one or two out of school every day, between homework and crashing
my calculator by trying to program it in assembly.


Also, I've noticed if you get the calc really really cold, the display
will go dim and you have to increase the contrast.  Probably something
with the batteries being cold.
