.92G is a TI-92 group file, which means that more than one
individual 92 file is contained in it. .92P is a TI-92 individual
program file. In fact, any .92* file that is NOT a .92@ file (i.e.
geometry session .92A) is a TI-92 file which can be used with the
TI-GRAPH LINK software.
The homemade cable was already available (since it was being used
for the 85) before TI released the official link software for the 92.
At the time, nobody knew for sure whether a 92 group file would be .92G
or something else, so just to be on the safe side, when they created
the homemade link software (for use with the existing homemade link,
and this was before the official 92 software was available), they made
92 data files in the group format be .92@ files. Now, they are not the
same as .92G files, and do not work with the official link software.
And also, any official .92* files (in other words, any file that is not
92@) cannot be used with the homemade link software.

    Hope this helps.
