A92: Re: Virtual TI Emulator

I'm really disappointed about that emulator. When I first executed it,
it refused to start since it missed DINPUT.DLL. (That file wasn't
included in my Win95 installation, so the documentation must be wrong).
Then I was able to get that library. Now the emulator starts, but it
doesn't accept any keepers, I have to press the keys by the mouse,
that's HORRIBLE! The debugging feature sounded sooo fantastic. But that
emulator isn't able to set breakpoints to program begins. The program
list is empty. The handle list in the debugger is empty, too. So I have
to launch the hex viewer, do some calculations and lookups for getting
the entry point of the program, and then I can debug... quite
impractical, isn't it? Another damn thing is the display. Using a
resolution of 800x600 it's quite small and 7 gray scale graphics aren't
displayed correct, they're flickering.

So after all I'm still using the Tiger Emulator. For debugging I'm
using DB92.

Does anyone know how to fix some of the "bugs" (?) in Virtual TI?

Thanks.
