I've read a few messages that requested a getkey command in ASM without libraries, well, here it is!

getkey equ _ROM_CALL_2A3+$178

Just insert this line before _main:
getkey contains the keycode of the last key pressed, just like in BASIC!

Note: this will only work for 92+ and 89--it will NOT work on the TI-92 because of some changes in the rom.

Mail me if you want the code for the 92 (fargo) and I'll try to get it.
