A92: Torus demo and LineLib
I am in the process of converting Jimmy Mardell's Torus demo and
LineLib.
I've converted LineLib, and that's a big plus since I was never able to
get the Rom line-drawing routine to work (see my post from a few days
ago; I have not got any useful input on that from anyone). Anyway,
given the way Rom is programmed, I'd wager that Jimmy's algorithm is A
LOT better (I observed with db92 how the Rom was plotting characters,
and I'll tell ya, it's ugly! I swear I could have done the same thing
in half the time and 1/4 the space :-) ). The torus program itself
works fine, but crashes upon exit. It most likely has something to do
with restoring interrupts (or failure restore them, rather).
Anyhow, if Jimmy is on this list, I am asking your permission to
release the finished program when I am done, and LineLib as well.
Which brings me to the second question: How do I upload files to
ticalc.org?
