Re: A92: Use your TI-92 on standardized tests.

I don't know what this kid really thinks he's doing. The 92 isn't allowed
because of a decision the college board made about QWERTY keyboards. Just
because some kid writes a program doesn't mean that you can just walk in there
and use your 92 on the test. The college board still has to allow you to use
the 92, and I don't know how this kid is planning on changing that. I'm also
somewhat confused as to why you haven't released this program. As I see it,
the TI calculator assembly community are a group of kids who learn about this
stuff together, not people who keep secrets about stupid things like that. I
don't know what's going on with not releasing the idea now. As I have said
before, I don't like to put down people's ideas on topics such as this one,
but I prefer to do that than have someone have an idea that they think is
wonderful, not share it, spend a while writing the program, and then find that
it is of no use or it didn't help the situation or something like that. This
could turn out to be a perfect example. It works better for everyone if we
all share our ideas with each other. I would prefer to find out now that the
program won't help (if indeed it doesn't) than the day before the test (if I
was taking it, which I'm not) so at least I would have time to find another
calculator. Again, sorry for sounding so negative, but I think many kids are
forgetting the importance of sharing programming information.
