I preemptively apologize for this off topic post, but most of you guys are 
Linux gurus, so I thought I'd ask.

Anyway, I'm debating switching my Win2k box over to Linux, and wanted to 
know a couple of things. First, will the TI-GCC IDE compile under Linux? 
Second, is there a vti or equivelent for Linux? Finally, what distros do you 
guys use out there, and why?
