i think NT's protected mode and 2ks mode work differently. NT drivers will NOT work under 2000 because of the changes.

yeah, you'd think something like that would mess with it, because the NT kernel doesn't allow direct hardware access, like you say, but on TI's site they say that the graphlink works for 95/98/NT... i'll have to search around on their site and see if i come up with anything.

i couldn't get the ti graph link to work under 2000 either; remember windows 2k is running under a protected mode and programs aren't allowed to directly access the hardware.

I have both Windows 2k and 98 on mine; They both run great.

probably not the place to ask this, but i will anyways.

does anyone else have problems getting the graph link software from ti to work under win2k?

i was using win98 and then winme, and both of them worked fine when i had the com port set to com1. when i installed win2k (i installed it over winme), all my settings remained the same, as far as hardware and mostly software, but when i try to use the graph link software, no com port works. i have com1 and com2 in my hardware device manager, so i know they are there, and the properties of them says they are working fine. anyone know what to do about this?
