Re: A89: Can a shell be started at boot?

i don't know what you mean by hook the on key, but in TEX i found the option
to lock the calc by pressing 2nd+diamond+off. then when the calc is turned
back on it will ask for the password, and shut off if it is incorrect.

on doors you could start the shell, and when it asks for the password, hit
2nd-off, and it would shut it self off, and come back on asking for a
password. the problem with this was that if you entered the wrong password,
it would not let you into doors, but it would instead just take you back to
the home screen, which is bad. i wanted to deny all access to calc by
turning it off if the wrong password was entered.

but, i figured it out on TEX. i'm not sure about doors though.
