Hmm, that's really weird.  I've been using MaxMem since it's release, and I
have yet to see any problems.  (Except for not being able to send the
Product code, or perform a FLASH TEST inside of the self test menu.  I have
even sent FlashApps (EE*Pro, Cabri, and Stats List Editor) and still no
problems have arisen.)

The one thing I have noticed, however, is that DoorsOS II has often times
caused the problems you are describing.  Another reason I exclusively use
TEOS.  Please not that it was not the current version of DoorsOS II doing
this.
