It simply toggles the write-only pointer at $600010 (which contains the address that the LCD hardware reads its data from, divided by 8) fast enough to give the illusion of greyscale.

Could some one explain how graphlib makes grayscale?  I know it uses auto-interrupt1.  I just want to know exactly is used to create it.  I appreciatte any help that can be given.  Thanks for you time and trouble.
