I forgot to include that you must multiply the entire sum by four. 
Sorry.  It's not something that I need to reference often.  It looks like
this:

4(1-1/3+1/5-1/7+1/9-1/11+1/13....)

I'm not sure how you got 1.78 though.....  That's the exact program I
used except I had display 4y.
