when the ti-89 screen turns blue, THAT'S BAD! Running asm programs for the 83 just for the sake of watching it crash would sometimes have the aqua blue color on the screen (except it was a line) that wouldn't go away for a while, even after the batteries were removed. it might harm the calc.
